I'm new here and maybe I got to this page of fascinating images by a non-standard path, but where is any info on who created these pix and in what context? Are they they all the work of one person, or is it a collective or team or company or couple or what? Are they talented amateurs pusuing a hobby, or professional photographers, artists, advertising creatives...? Are the images created in a context of "fine art" and its constituent institutions of museum, gallery, and academia? Or are they an ongoing portfolio of cool concepts maintained by advertising professionals to draw from in future campaigns? But these are questions of production and context that I am curious about because of the high quality of the work.

As for content, I'd suggest adding a comment button for each image to allow them to be discussed individually and with greater ease and clarity for reader and writer. I could sit and write a short story for many of the images, while for others I had brilliant one-liner captions for many of the images spring to mind as I browsed them.

As i wrote before: i receved the pictures by email and i wasn`t able to track down the autor/autors. I don`t think they are from worth1000 beacuse theyr pictures have a small tag that states so. I would like to credit them and link to the authors site, hope we will find out who made them.
Thanks for your all your comments!

The picture with car on the road is very powerful, i believe it shows the abandonment of the 3rd world by rich countries like America and England.

Good job with the pics.

ok.. these are all beautiful.

but i see no profound meaning in a picture of a giant lobster in a room, or of a kangaroo with a hippo in it's pouch.

anyone care to explain? lol

Yeahh, must of them were great jobs, but the ones from inside the mouths, just felt kinda creepy, well that was just me, and my claustrophobia :S

All these pictures are wonderful! I especially like the city bowl and the diver finding Liberty's hand.

I think the inside-the-mouth ones creep me out. Like.. the pictures shine a light that screams out DANGER!! toward the subjects.. like they're gonna get eaten by cannibals or something.. D:

Oh WOW. These pictures are amazing. Most of the pictures made me feel kind of scared in a good and adventurous way. I loved all of them but my favorite has to be the second last one coz first i didnot even know what was special about that picture. Then i saw the brain and then i smiled at my stupidity and your creativity.

WOW! Those pics are amazing, and the messages are so deep! I really like the car one. For me it's turning a new leaf; leaving the past behind and coming into something new.
