this image really hits home with me. The city is such a big place, and you can fell so free, but when you really think about, you truley are caged, stuck where you are, unable to do anything to fix it, unable to leave it, effectivly, caged.

I don't think it's meant to be taken that literally. What I get from it, is that we cage ourselves. There is a world out side the one we have created for ourselves, but we "can't" get out of our "cage", because that's where we live. Or, we've separated ourselves. The city is in the cage, and outside it is a pretty room with a sunny window. There's where humans live, and the rest of the world. And they're seperate, as if the animals in Africa or wherever are part of a different world. But I mean, we all live on the same planet.

I don't know if I make sense, but hey, what can you do?

And does anyone else think that room looks like a room in an insane asylum, and that bird cage is the old lady's that stay's there?
